  • Anna, I think we are pretty close. The political dysfunction is on a blackout binge, throw anything out to the citizens...the crisis is back again, J P Morgan, debt ceiling redux, and throw in social issues just to make sure all the fundamentals will turn out and vote for the righteous GOP.

  • Backhouse, Yes, Boehner is ready to rerun the debacle from last summer. He signed on with compromise of the super committee. That of course did nothing. So the cuts will be made in 2013, and the bush tax cuts will expire.
